Life Has No Royal Road To Learning....!!

Greetings of the day!!

Yesterday was at Bhiwani and at night I was sitting for one hour with a senior advocate Banwari Lal of Bhiwani District Court. Last time I was meet him at his cabin in court and this time I was at his home for family function. He takes me alongside his home where no one was there. He gives the vision on several things from ancient to modern era. Best part of talking was about Guidance by elder or we can say Guru. To be success in life we need guidance along with hard work. For anyone’s success, peoples are sayings it’s “Chamatkaar” but in reality it is the process of right guidance and hard work. And result of it is “Chamatkaar”. During talking he was saying an experienced line that “Teacher is the Advocate of Law and Advocate is the teacher of Law. Both teacher and advocate are doing almost same thing before going to their field. As teacher is preparing to teach in class and advocate is preparing to fight case in court. During study or preparation they are leaning things properly”.

Learning can change life divinely. But there is no royal road to learning. Any sentence having the word life means someone is talking or flooding philosophy. Is there anything better that we, as human beings, have got as a grant from the almighty? I will say no. Every second is bliss to me. Even when life is tough, I celebrate it somewhere within my soul because I know that in future, some day, this shall go and I would again be running in a crystal clear environment. Hence, when I talk about life, I make it sure that I talk about learning new things. Even when you will learn a new thing daily, you will find uncountable number of things far away from your knowledge and its scope. And this scope has to be widened. Learning needs teacher. And therefore, teachers are respected in life almost like the way parents are respected. But is learning really a pure activity in today's society? Maybe not. A lot of things is changed with change is generation.

Based on my three years of teaching experience, I can say that learning is only truthful and pure when teacher is selfless. If there is greed of anything other than having their students as educated most learned in the horizon, then I this process of learning is more of a business. I always speak in my class “beta ye class jo ab chal rahi hain dobara nahi aayagi… aaj yhan jo sikh ke jaoge wo puri zindagi yad rahega… agar ab yha dhyan lagakar nahi padha to isi class ke topic ko sikhne ke liye kisi coaching institute ko join karoge etc etc…”. And a motivational lecture starts from here for almost 10 minutes.  Even I don’t hesitate to punish the students in class for their mistake. When I talk about learning, I am not considering just academics but anything that we learn in our day-to-day life or even occasionally. Doing any type of technical or non technical course, singing classes, language speaking classes, dancing classes, swimming classes, driving classes, yoga classes etc all comes into the process of learning. And it's a myth that a person can excel only in one phenomenon. If a person believes in committing himself to life considering that life is all about being closer to God, he may achieve excellence in almost every time he tries his hand upon. Hence, one can go on joining every class that he finds in his vicinity. 

Now a day all these classes are less of a pure relationship between a teacher and the student but just business. In Delhi like city, I’ve seen such teachers who are in teaching profession just to promote their own business like online teaching portal, own academic branch at specific location, to promote their published book etc. and during lecture class at least five minute they are speaking about such business. These days even the students know that teachers are into the profession due to recession or some other targets and tragedies, which is either big or small. There are very less people who are in teaching profession of any kind by their will.

So before going to any institution, make sure to deal appropriately about your learning course. Bargain accurately is the key process and need to escape of these businessmen in the disguise of teachers. At the end up you may be looted or unlearned because in the quest to learn something new, we forget that we are in an open market where everyone is competing with peers to have their profit and loss statement in a pragmatic situation. And in the formalities and to sound humble and a good future student, a favorite one too, we pretend ourselves to be very sweet. And this sweetness ends up bringing sour experiences in our smooth life. Once if you are looted, you will start getting frustrated and this frustration will result into exasperation because you will find it very difficult and anti-culture to argue against someone who is your teacher. You can feel here what will happen when we face such situation. What happened here is that you end up shying and remain quiet even when you know that you are not leaning by guidance the way you wanted and the way you were promised.

I’ve experience of educational society and affiliation process of technical institute. And later as a head, I experienced as handling institutions internal issues. Based on my experience, I’ll also like to add that if you are getting collaborated with any of your relatives or friends to launch a business or are going to work under them, make it sure that without any shame, you tell everything that you need initially itself. Because once the business or the session of your work would begin, it will become very hard to fight with the same relatives or friends regarding decision, money, future plans and decisions related to improvement regarding business etc. otherwise you will end up getting frustrated and taking a decision that might spoil your peace for a long period of time. And always try to be loyal in such things. Only one lie can ruin everything. So if can’t handle doesn’t indulge in such cases. Because now days it seems to be quite impossible, indulge but only when you clarify your terms before that person turns into your teacher and your period of getting dominated begins. For what I’m writing about my experience here, you might feel is useless right now, but when you will face this experience, I am sure you will remember this out of the box post of mine. So try to read these lines again and make it sure that you follow the guidelines next time you are about to start learning something new in life with the help of a guidance, trainer or teacher.

Yesterday, when I was enjoying the shopping at District Centre, Delhi then I visited book centre. Where I noticed a book a “YOU ARE UNIQUE”. I read something about it on net. This book remains me my old days. Did you know that you are unique? There is no other person in all the world who is exactly like you! You're different. You're special. But maybe you don't really feel like that.

Written by Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, this book You Are Unique, is dedicated to the mastery of your unique self, developing creative leadership, creating outstanding institutions and the art of achieving happiness by giving happiness to others.

The book shows the way that Greatness exists in all of us. It's simply a matter of pulling that greatness out. The book helps to build self-confidence and strength to achieve your goals.

Maybe, if I have all the riches and wealth in the world, I wouldn’t know God, for I would only depend on the material things that I’m drowned on. Maybe, if I was a six-footer man, I wouldn’t know how to look up and appreciate every little thing. Maybe, if I have a prince-liked handsome face, I would have a hard time looking at the inner beauty of someone. Maybe, if I am a great visual artist, I don’t have one of the talents, that I enjoy doing right now. Maybe, if I get all that I want, I’ll starve more and won’t know contentment. And maybe, if a day would always go perfect, there’s nothing more that I could live for, the morrow.

You need to stop comparing yourself to other people. Some people are great singers, some are really smart and others are great athletes. But none of them are, or ever could be you. You are one of a kind. So stop comparing yourself to other people. You can’t be them any more than they can be you. A message of spirituality, honesty, being unselfish and the value of giving emerges from these pages as from his life. The world has changed and there is a need for awakening together the head and the heart.
